This Wagner Palace Car Company Fractional Stock Certificate was issued in 1892 and is hand signed.

The Wagner Palace Car Company was founded 1858 by Webster Wagner in Buffalo New York as the New York Central Sleeping Car Company. He actually died in one of his own cars in 1882 in a rear-end collision. The company was ultimately sold to the Pullman Car Company in 1900.
