This rare West Texas Land Company stock certificate was issued in 1926 and is hand-signed by M.M. Rowan, J.F. Morrissey and A.A. Chesnut. They were a well drilling operation in the Ranger and Strawn Field Areas of Texas. Ranger was one of the first big West Texas oil boom towns when oil was discovered in 1917.
