The Burlington and Missouri River Railroad Co. was founded in Iowa in 1852. Starting with only a few miles of track, it continued to build and eventually connected with the Union Pacific in 1872. This stock certificate was issued in the 1870s and is hand signed. The vignette features a gorgeous steam engine on the edge of town in excellent detail.
