Description

This rare post card from 1907 shows trading room floor of the Baltimore Stock Exchange in Maryland. The regional exchange opened in 1881 and was destroyed in the Great Baltimore Fire of 1904 which destroyed an estimated 2500 businesses. The Baltimore Stock Exchange was sold to the Philadelphia Stock Exchange in 1949 to become the Philadelphia-Baltimore Stock Exchange.

The post card was sent by Nettie in 1907 with a Baltimore post mark with a 1 cent stamp to Miss Lucinda Kinder, Seaford Delaware. Amazing no street address was required.

This Baltimore Stock Exchange Post Card is presented in a gorgeous high quality acrylic display that weights over 1.5 lbs. Magnetically held together, the display is easy to open if want to inspect your trade tickets. Perfect for a desktop or bookshelf display.
