This rare trade tax receipt was issued in 1933 for 25 shares of General Motors from Carlisle, Mellick & Co to E.F. Hutton & Co. Features a State of NY and 2 Treasury stock transfer stamps on the front. Carlisle, Mellick & Co was founded in 1908 and was one of the largest odd-lot houses on Wall Street. This trade would have occurred on the NYSE.

This one-of-a-kind trade tax receipt is presented in a gorgeous high quality acrylic display that weights over 1.5 lbs. Magnetically held together, the display is easy to open if want to inspect your item. Perfect for a desktop or bookshelf display.

E.F. Hutton & Co. was founded in 1904 by Edward Hutton. The Company became a house hold name in the 1970's and 1980s with the tag line "When E.F. Hutton talks, people listen" E.F. Hutton later merged with Shearson Lehman to become Shearson Lehman Hutton.
