This hand-colored old map of Greece is highly detailed with mountains, rivers, roads, lakes and all the various neighbors of the Greek Islands.

J.H. Colton was a prominent map maker in the United States in the 19th Century. His first atlas, Colton's Atlas of the World was issue in two volumes in 1855 and 1856. Sons G.W. and C.W joined the firm and both became accredited on maps around 1857.
