Description

This solid bronze medallion was given by the NYSE to commemorate the Bicentennial of the American Revolution (1776-1976) in 1975 and was made by the Medallic Art Company. The front features a fantastic depiction of the NYSE façade with the George Washington statue in the foreground. The reverse features a high relief depiction of dozens of Revolutionary War soldiers include horse mounted soldiers, calvary, airplanes, steam engines, a early car, native American, and even an astronaut.

One of the most decorative medals we have seen coming from the New York Stock Exchange and the Medallic Art co. Simply awesome. Rare piece.
