The Northern Indiana Railroad Company was founded in 1837 and merged to become the Michigan Southern and Northern Indiana in 1855.  The Railroad eventually became part of the New York Central Railroad.  Issued in the 1850s.  Hand signed.  Features a steam train in the vignette.  Rare.  Signed by the company president.  Pre civil war.
