Description

This is a very rare Trader Jacket patch from the Pacific Coast Stock Exchange. It features an Edison Stock Ticker Tape Machine in the middle with "Serving the Nation" within the ticker ribbon. Memorabilia from the Pacific Coast Stock Exchange is very hard to come by. The Exchange was only called the Pacific Coast Stock Exchange for 17 years from 1956 to 1973.

The Pacific Coast Stock Exchange was founded in San Francisco in 1882 as the San Francisco Stock and Bond Exchange. In 1956 it merged with the Los Angeles Oil Exchange and became the Pacific Coast Stock Exchange. In 1973 it was once again renamed to The Pacific Stock Exchange.
