The Dial Corp. was originally formed in 1926 as Motor Transit Corp. which became the famed Greyhound Corp. in 1930. The company grew and became a conglomerate operating companies such as Travelers Express (Financial Services) and Armour and Company (famed hotdogs). In 1987 Greyhound lines was sold. They renamed the parent company Viad Corp and the consumer business became the new Dial Corp in 1995.  In 2003 the company was acquired by the German company Henkel.  Issued in 1996.
