These Walt Disney WWII war bond certificates were issued to purchasers of WWII savings bonds in the 1940s to help raise money for the war by the United States Treasury. Bordered by all the familiar Disney Characters from Mickey Mouse to Goofy and the Seven Dwarves. Each certificate has a watermark from the printer when held up to the light.

This Disney War Bond was issued in 1944 to Andrea Jockozberg from her Grandmother. It has the printed signature of the Chairman, War Finance Committee of Southern California. Has authentic watermark when held to the light.

One of these is actually on permanent display at the Museum of American Finance in NY.

Condition: Excellent

There are a ton of fake Walt Disney War Bond certificates out there. Do you know how to spot a fake? Each will have a watermark which will differ between printers. For instance, those printed by U.S. Government Printing Office will have an eagle for a watermark. Also, if you look at Donald Duck's eyes with a magnifying glass, the blue of his eyes will be little blue dots. If its solid blue, it's a photocopy.
