This gorgeous trinket box was designed exclusively for The Associates by Tiffany & Co.. The Associates First Capital Corp was founded in 1918 in Irving, Texas and reached over 2700 retail locations in the U.S and reached over 700,000 customers in Europe and Japan.

The Associates was purchased by Citigroup in 2000 for $31 billion in stock which represented approximately 10% of Citi's market value at the time. The Associates was accused of predatory lending practices by the FTC including flipping and packing mortgages with credit insurance and deceptive marketing. Citigroup settled with the FTC and paid customers $240 million.
