This Dog Coin Bank was created by Wells Fargo for clients to celebrate the Year of the Dog in 2018. The Dog is the 11th of 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac sign which run on a 12 year cycle. According to legend a great race was held to cross a river between 12 animals. The Dog, being a good swimmer, should have finished earlier but being dirty, frolicked and played in the river and finished 11th in the race. The zodiac animals are often related to people's personality traits and birthdays. The Dog is associated with a playful nature and loyalty.

Each features the Wells Fargo on the bottom with Chinese Characters.
