Description

This rare trade ticket tax bill was issued in the 1930s as a sale of 100 shares of Studebaker to Fenner & Bean for $4 1/4. Features a State of NY and US Treasury stock transfer stamps on the front.

Fenner & Beane was founded in 1916 in New Orleans and by the 1930s had become the 2nd largest brokerage in the U.S. After business slowed following the Great Depression and the death of partner Alph Beane, they merged with Merrill Lynch to become Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Beane in 1941.

This one-of-a-kind trade ticket is presented in a gorgeous high quality acrylic display that weights over 1.5 lbs. Magnetically held together, the display is easy to open if want to inspect your item. Perfect for a desktop or bookshelf display.
