The Winston-Salem Twins, now the Winston-Salem Dash (and once the Warthogs), were formed in 1905 and have been recognized as one of the greatest minor league baseball teams of all time. The Twins were named after the twin cities of Winston and Salem North Carolina. At one point they were affiliated with the Boston Red Sox and even the Yankees. From 1984 to 1993 they were a minor league affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. Now they are a farm team for the Chicago White Sox. This is a hand-signed 1954 Winston-Salem Twins Stock Certificate.
