Montana power was formed in 1912 by John Ryan who was at the time the president of Anaconda Copper Mining Company.  In the 1990's Montana Power sold it's holdings to Pennsylvania Power and Light and Northwest Energy.  The company then reorganized itself as the telecommunications company Touch America.  The company sustained heavy losses in the Dot Com bubble and filed for Bankruptcy in 2003.  Issued 1970s - due in 1998.
