These rare badges were worn by floor traders and specialists on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange to help identify the traders and firms while trading.

Coggeshall & Hicks was a NY brokerage house and a member of the New York Stock Exchange and was located on 50 Broadway and 128 Broadway. The firm was founded in 1906. They merged with the Orvis Brother Company to form Orvis Brothers Hicks in 1965.
