This is an old modem that came from the New York Stock Exchange. The labels on the front say 96FDDA456611 D-Marc #2 and Backup HSQL. It was supplied by General Associates, Inc. Wall Street, NY.

The modem was made by Racal-Vadic which was founded in 1950 and was the parent company of Vodafone.
