This vintage solid oak Stock Ticker Tape Machine Desk Valet is a rare version. They made smaller pen holders similar to this but this particular version is quite rare. This one is only the second we have found in about 15 years. The base is solid oak and is 16" long. The dome is glass the plate and letter holder is brass. Perfect for a larger desk or dresser.

The plaque reads "EDISON STOCK TICKER Designed by Thomas Edison in 1870 this stock ticker was used for receiving stock quotations from the nation's leading exchanges for over 80 years."
