The Green Bay Packers are a unique football team being the only publicly owned and nonprofit team in the NFL. The Packers have issued shares on multiple occasions throughout their history; 1923, 1935, 1950, 1997, 2011, and 2022. The shares issued are unique. They do not include any equity interest, do not pay a dividend, and cannot be traded on an exchange. They receive nothing but the right to vote at the annual meeting.
