Columbia Gas Services Inc. traces it's roots back to 1847 when the Springfield Gas Light Company was founded.  In 1948 several gas companies were combined and renamed Columbia Gas Services Inc.  The company merged with NiSource in 2000 forming one of the largest gas and electric companies in the country.  Issued in 1970 to Paine Webber Jackson & Curtis
