Viad Corp was originally formed in 1926 as Motor Transit Corp. which became the famed The Greyhound Corp. in 1930.  The company grew and became a conglomerate operating companies such as Travelers Express (Financial Services) and Armour and Company (famed hotdogs).  In 1987 Greyhound lines was sold.  The remaining operations were renamed The Dial Corp. in 1991 and became Viad Corp in 1996.  The current company is primarily a travel logistics company which owns many hotels and resorts under the Brewster Travel Canada brand.  Issued 1996
