2024 is the Year of the Dragon! This Dragon Coin Bank was created by Wells Fargo for clients to celebrate the Year of the Dragon in 2012. The Dragon is the 5th of 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac sign which run on a 12 year cycle. According to legend a great race was held to cross a river between 12 animals. The Dragon, who could fly swiftly and easily won, stopped to help villagers by extinguishing a fire, finished 5th in the race. The zodiac animals are often related to people's personality traits and birthdays. The Dragon is associated with beauty and strength.

Each features the Wells Fargo on the bottom with Chinese Characters.
