This Horse Coin Bank was created by Wells Fargo for clients to celebrate the Year of the Horse in 2014. The Horse is the 7th of 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac sign which run on a 12 year cycle. According to legend a great race was held to cross a river between 12 animals. The Horse galloped through the river as the Snake latched onto the it's hoof. At the finish line the Snake jumped ahead of the horse beating it in the race thus finishing 7th. The zodiac animals are often related to people's personality traits and birthdays. The Horse is associated with people who are optimistic, friendly, clever, energetic, confident and moving towards a goal.

Each features the Wells Fargo on the bottom with Chinese Characters.
